Quarry & Kiln Hosts Trass System Workshop

Quarry & Kiln recently hosted a workshop and installation guide centered on the use of the Trass System, giving customers the chance to see the installation process firsthand and learn more about how the system performs in the field.

The event was a great opportunity to bring Quarry & Kiln customers together, walk through the installation process, and answer questions about where the Trass System can be a strong fit. Seeing the system demonstrated in person helped show not just how it is installed, but why more contractors are interested in using it.

A special thank you goes to Polycor and Technical Specialist Jamie Fitzsimmons for leading the installation. Their support helped make the workshop both practical and informative.

The Trass System is a high-strength, frost-resistant bedding system used for the installation of natural stone, slabs, tile, and concrete pavers. One of its biggest advantages is that it is highly water-permeable, which helps water move through the system rather than getting trapped beneath the surface. It is also designed to resist frost and de-icing salts, reduce efflorescence, handle light to heavy traffic loads, and work with radiant heating or snowmelt systems.

Workshops like this matter because they give customers a chance to see products in action and leave with a better understanding of how those products can perform on real jobs.

We also want to thank all of our Quarry & Kiln customers who came out to learn more about the Trass System. We appreciate you taking the time to join us and hope the workshop gave you a useful look at both the installation process and the benefits the system can offer.
